Boom Gates and Barrier Gates Systems |
Boom Gates (or Barrier Gates) are another growing
part of Pirie Enterprises building works. Piries have installed
them in shopping centres, factories and office blocks for traffic
safety and security.
We choose Italian made Fadini for their excellent reliability and
engineering but will install any brand that you choose.

Fadini's Barri 88 Oil Hydraulic Barrier

Compact oil-hydraulic barrier fitted with
anodized aluminium beam; suitable for
commercial applications and for car parks
where heavy duty open/close operations are
required. Reliable and weatherproof; the
housing is entirely made of sheet steel
specially treated to provide a galvanized
coating for a long lasting finish with epoxy
paint in yellow colour. It is possible to reach
the mechanism that operates the beam and
the electronic control box through a lockable
door with a coded key. The oil-hydraulic
mechanism, ie. motor/pump/valve assembly
is compact, capable of fast operations,
smooth running and is fitted with a
dampening device to slow down speed in
both directions of movement. |

Fadini's MEC 900 Oil Hydraulic Barrier (left) Boom/Barrier Gates.
MEC 900 is an oil-hydraulic mechanism to
raise and lower a beam barrier for traffic
control in private, public and industrial areas.
Installation of the barrier MEC 900 is by
setting the provided base plate into a
concrete foundation; anchor-ended plates
are to be welded first to improve hold; the
plate becomes fully concealed once enclosed
into the body of the system. The body, in the
shape of a cabinet, is mounted and fixed to
the base plate and provides adequate housing
for the hydraulic mechanism, which controls
the motions of the beam and ensures a
perfect performance. The housing body is
made of thick sheet steel, bent into a specially
designed shape so to provide a strong and
robust structure, able to bear the mechanical
stress and vibrations that are produced when
the barrier is operated. |
